22nd and 23th April - Lyrids Meteor Shower

 The Lyrids Meteor shower usually produce an about 20 meteors per hour. This shower continues from 16th to 25th but will be at peak on these two days. It is produced from the debris (grains) left by Comet C/1861 G1 Thatcher when the Earth passes through them on its journey around the Sun. This meteor shower is known as  Lyrids as originates from the constellation Lyra, the Harp.
